The Department of Maritime Business Administration at Texas A&M University is hiring for TWO tenure-track assistant professor positions in maritime business.
- Position 1 (MARITIME LOGISTICS). The successful candidate will conduct research and education in maritime supply chain management, focusing on topics such as maritime transportation, port and terminal operations, warehousing and freight distribution, and international trade.
- Position 2 (MARITIME MANAGEMENT). The successful candidate will conduct research and education in maritime management, focusing on topics such as finance, marketing, leadership, strategy, entrepreneurship in maritime shipping, and port management.
In both positions, expertise in cybersecurity, decarbonization, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, geospatial technologies, or the cruise industry is considered an advantage.
